Application and licence

These product-specific Terms of Use describe Medical Abbreviations: Quick, version 2.0, provided by VLR Software LLC. This is the update to the historical Medical Abbreviations – Quick Reference app, not Acroly. Your app licence is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These notes do not replace that agreement or restrict rights you have under applicable law.

Informational reference only

Abbreviations can have multiple meanings and the collection may contain omissions or errors. Confirm the intended meaning against the original document, an authoritative source and the relevant context. The app does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, recommend treatment or replace professional judgment. Do not rely on it alone for clinical decisions or emergencies. We do not claim independent clinical validation of the collection.

Paid download

All included features are available immediately after installation. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases or advertisements. The relaunch is an update on the existing App Store record, not a separate purchase for historical purchasers using the purchasing Apple Account, subject to Apple's availability and compatibility rules. The App Store shows the applicable local price and handles billing and refund requests. A purchase does not guarantee support for every future device or operating-system version.

Your library and iCloud

You are responsible for the custom content you enter and for having permission to use or share it. Do not enter patient-identifying information or use the app as a medical-record system. iCloud synchronization requires compatible devices, the same Apple Account and available iCloud service. Delays or interruptions can occur. Keep independent copies of important information; synchronization is not a guaranteed backup service.

Acceptable use and third-party services

Use the app lawfully and respect intellectual-property rights, subject to the permissions and exceptions in Apple's Standard EULA and applicable law. Apple services and destinations you choose for shared content have their own terms. Acroly subscriptions and data are separate and are not transferred or cancelled by this app.

Privacy, updates and support

See the Privacy Policy for data handling. We may update the app and these product notes; material changes will be reflected here. Nothing in these notes excludes mandatory consumer rights. Questions: support@vlrsoftware.com, VLR Software LLC.
